Transparency
& Local Impact
The Donation Meal Program is built on transparency, fairness and real local impact. All contributions are collected through a separate dedicated bank account to ensure clear and transparent financial flows. Under the oversight of Grant Thornton Curaçao, donations are fairly distributed among the participating local meal initiatives.
To help ensure that contributions truly reach the people they are intended for, participating organizations may also be subject to financial review and monitoring related to the use of donated funds.
Because food and ingredient costs on Curaçao continue to rise, the donation amount has been carefully determined based on the average purchasing and meal preparation costs across the participating meal programs. This helps ensure that every Donation Meal contributes in a meaningful and realistic way to providing support where it is needed most.
100% of every Donation Meal is used for bank processing costs and meal support within the participating initiatives. No profit is made through the program.
Together, visitors and locals can make a small gesture with real local impact.
