Club17 MVS

Local impact starts when people find each other.

Club17 MVS brings together young people, education, community organisations, businesses and local government across Maassluis, Vlaardingen and Schiedam. We connect knowledge, experience and fresh perspectives to build meaningful social and sustainable impact in the region.

Where We Are Now.

The Club17 SDG Challenge MVS 2026 is our first step. The people and organisations taking part will form the first Club17 MVS partner circle. By working on one real programme together, we begin building trust and a shared way of working across the region. After the Challenge, we will bring partners together, invite other like-minded organisations and decide together what the region needs and what Club17 MVS should work on next.

Build shared initiatives

What Club17 MVS is.

A regional movement built around shared challenges.

Local challenges do not stop at municipal borders. Across the MVS region, valuable knowledge, experience and networks already exist, but they are often divided across organisations, sectors and cities.

Club17 MVS helps bring these strengths together. We use the Sustainable Development Goals as a shared framework to understand how local issues are connected, while keeping local impact as the goal.

Club17 SDG Challenge MVS 2026

From 9 October to 12 November 2026, twelve teams of four young people will work on twelve real challenges from community organisations in Maassluis, Vlaardingen and Schiedam. The Challenge is both a practical youth programme and the first step in building the Club17 MVS partner circle.

Shared Mission

The Club17 Methodology

We begin with the right people around the table.

1. Find like-minded partners

Bring together people and organisations that want to contribute to the region.

Listen, examine local realities and identify where collaboration can add value.

4. Connect strengths to needs

Combine what partners can contribute with regional priorities

and gaps.

5. Build, test and learn

Develop shared initiatives, put them into practice and use the lessons to improve the next step.

From a first partner circle to a shared regional agenda

After The Challenge.

After the Grand Final, Club17 MVS will bring the first partners back together. We will reflect on what we learned, map the knowledge and expertise available and invite more likeminded partners

from the region.

Together, we will explore what Maassluis, Vlaardingen and Schiedam need and where combined strengths can create greater local value. These conversations will determine the next initiatives. Club17 MVS will not decide that agenda alone; it will be built with the region.

Join The Beginning

Do you bring knowledge, expertise, lived experience, a network or resources? Or do you see a need in the region that deserves a stronger shared response? Club17 MVS is not inviting you into a finished programme. We are inviting you to help build what comes next.
