Rancho Alegre has been around for over 40 years. We have had different animals since the 80s and the place is accessible to visitors and outdoor rides are organized. We love to take care of more than 20 different animals every day and we really appreciate the enthusiastic and nice reactions from visitors. It is certainly a nice place for animal lovers. Rancho Alegre is not a company and therefore we do not have fixed opening hours.

Chichis are figurines in the shape of Caribbean women and very popular both in the Caribbean and abroad. Various Chichis can also be bought in the Dutch shops. At Serena's Art Factory you can paint your own Chichi. That's a nice souvenir: a figurine of your choice painted all by yourself! First of all, you will find yourself in a colorful garden with Chichis in all shapes and sizes. The staff then explains the idea behind the figurines and how the figurines are made. Unique figurines are painted by hand time and again together with local artists and painters.

Curacao is one of the best locations in the Caribbean for rock climbing. Our island offers a number of limestone cliffs and rocks that have been professionally screwed. Climbing is a safe and rewarding outdoor activity that is also mentally, emotionally and spiritually rewarding.

The playground is situated between the miniature golf course and Brakkeput Mei Mei’s own vegetable garden and orchard.

Four big wooden playhouses placed on artificial grass and equipped with swings and slides offer hours of fun for kids up to 10 years of age.

While their parents are enjoying dinner in the restaurant, the kids are welcome in the playground, free of charge.

A small zoo that dates back to the early 1940, starting out as an experimental garden and later becoming a safe haven for exotic animals.
