Gallery Alma Blou
Today Gallery Alma Blou in Landhuis Habaai is the oldest and largest gallery on Curaçao, featuring authentic Curacao and Caribbean art. "Gallery Alma Blou" is papiamentu for "Gallery of the Blue Soul" is a place to relax and enjoy the Curaçao way of expressing art.
The art at Gallery Alma Blou is a creation by mostly local artists either living on the island or abroad, inspired by the culture and nature of the island. A special section is dedicated to real Curaçao imagery, such as panoramas of Punda and Otrobanda, maps of the island, imprints of old city scenes and books.
Street Art Skalo
Get the WOW-feeling when you see the huge art pieces gracing the walls between the monuments. In 2016 Street Art Skalo started to bring art to the streets of Scharloo Abou, shining a new light on this district! Street Art Skalo curated artists to make head turning art pieces to redecorate the streets of Scharloo Abou. This positive initiative envisions a growing outdoor museum in Curacao; showing artistic talent of mostly local artists, a place that inspires creativity and brings people together through art.
Francis Sling

Francis Sling (Curaçao, 1979) is a visual artist, working in Curaçao. He studied graphic design at Grafisch Lyceum Amsterdam from 2000 to 2004.
Aside from his undeniable media presence, the recently turned quadragenarian is a tour de force. A 2017 and 2018 recipient of Amigoe Express’ award for Best Artist, his work is at the very least seductive as well as captivating with an equally strong message. The self-proclaimed poet uses the brush to express his colorful poetry on canvas or any type of surface he’s drawn to. He is also well versed in the ways of sculpting and wood carving, which comes as no surprise. To add a cherry on top, Francis’ other passion, music, comes as easy to him as painting

She is a much-appreciated female role model in the Caribbean community of today and a very live part of its colorful heritage. Chichi® is a handmade sculpture and painted by local craftsmen and painters. Serena’s Art Factory enables local women to empower themselves with an own income and through painting taking care of them physically and emotionally as well. Cathedral of Thorns
The Cathedral of Thorns is a full building-sized illuminated labyrinth on the Caribbean island of Curaçao. Visitors are invited to walk through its corridors and experience an artistic journey through a troublesome history toward a bright future; both sides represented by the hostile yet beautiful thorns.
Bert Knubben
Meet artist “BERT KNUBBEN” at the very cozy Tug Boat Beach. He makes special heads out of coral. Before that he also spent his life as a diver on Curacao, but as soon as he sees coral, shells or wood, he gets itchy and designs a self-made piece of art.
He used to exhibit in the Maritime museum, and also in the Curacao's museum with a group exhibition, ditto at Jan Kock, Landhuis Bloemhof. But now he spends a few hours every day, from 2 to 4 pm at Tugboat, where he only sells smaller artifacts to those who are interested. The prices of the artifacts vary from large to small amounts.
Nena Sanchez
Self-taught local artist, Nena Sanchez, got her inspiration from her surroundings. Born and died on Curaçao, Nena recreated the island's bright colors and lush scenes in her distinctive paintings and gliclees (fine art digitally reproduced and placed on canvas). Her work is featured in private collections in Curaçao, Europe, and North and South America. Nena's art can be purchased at the galleries at Landhuis Jan Kok and in Punda.
Paluarte Hugo Sjak-Shie
By working with wood I try to strengthen my unity with and reverence for nature. I try to give the tree a second life by bringing out its inner beauty. Forms in woodturning are not straight lines, but circles and spirals, just like nature and the many turnings of the dance of life! By displaying my work I hope to inspire your unity with and reverence for nature.

Art by Eve
My name is Elly Hogenes and I paint/design using the name Eve. These are the initials of my first name and the first two letters of my maiden name Verhoeven.
I’ve been painting for as long as I can remember. I’m completely self-taught so for me learning on the job has been the way through the years. The colors, the people and the environment give me creative inspiration and that’s how the Selma figure was created.
The story behind Selma is known, she is a very nice lady with a positive and listening ear for everyone around her and really the grandma everyone wishes they had.
