Dinah Veeris - Gifts of Nature
The medicinal and nurturing effect of herbs form the basis for the Dinah products. I gained my knowledge about this through tradition and study of the active ingredients of herbs.

Viewpoint of Santa Martha
To get to the viewpoint of Santa Martha, set the navigation to the village of Soto or Playa Lagun. As you approach these spots, you will see Santa Martha appear on the signposts. Take the indicated exit and then pay close attention, because the viewpoint is not signposted. The spot is on the right side of the road and can be recognized by the protruding rock where there is almost no afforestation. Park your car on the roadside and enjoy the beautiful view over the Santa Martha Bay!
Blue room
The Blue Room, also called the blue cave, is a truly unique place on Curacao. It is a beautiful blue lit cave that you can swim / snorkel in and where you can see many fish. You only have to swim one meter under water from the sea. The entrance is about 20 cm below the water surface. So you don't have to swim deep under water.
Cathedral of Thorns
The Cathedral of Thorns is a full building-sized illuminated labyrinth on the Caribbean island of Curaçao. Visitors are invited to walk through its corridors and experience an artistic journey through a troublesome history toward a bright future; both sides represented by the hostile yet beautiful thorns.

Oldest tree | Park Hofi Pastor
Hofi Pastor is a small orchard that houses the oldest tree in Curaçao. A large impressive kapok tree that is more than 400 years old. The orchards is located next to the large yellow Roman Catholic Church in Barber, in the western part of Curaçao, about 40 minutes drive from Willemstad.
Fort Beekenburg
Various archaeological sites can be found on the Caracasbaa Peninsula, showing the presence of Indians in earlier times.
Fort Beekenburg was built around 1703 on the peninsula. An almost intact fort which is of great historical significance. Not only because it is still in its original state, but also because, among other things, the Curaçaoan Pedro Luis Brion was commander there and fought there in 1805 with an English invading army.
Hofinan Ser'i Otrobanda
Hòfinan Ser’i Otrobanda is an assembly of various gardens (hòfi) in the neighborhood of Ser’i Otrobanda in Curacao. We started to plant healthy and affordable vegetables and fruit for our neighbors that were struggling during the pandemic.Landhuis Bloemhof is located on one of the smaller plantations of the island. The main building (1735) is now a vibrant meeting place for art lovers. Exhibitions, lectures and creative workshops are ongoing in this inspiring ambiance surrounded by select antique furniture. The adjacent wing which formerly housed stables and barns has been remodeled and now contains an archive, library and reading room dedicated to the arts, as well as the former studio of May Henriquez.
Ashram Sprititual retreat
"Traditionally, an ashram is a place to study ancient Indian wisdom. This retreat serves as an ideal place to evolve spiritually, specifically focussing on self-inquiry and inner silence. Advaita Vedanta and Zen and are recognized as the main understanding of this ashram. This beautiful and serene place is located on the premises of the herb garden of Dinah Veeris and the neighboring permaculture garden of Shastri Moesker, just outside of Willemstad, Curaçao's Capital.
Plasa Bieu
Plasa Bieu is situated in the heart of Punda, in Willemstad. The place to find krioyo soul cooking; a wide range of local dishes.The ingredients are purchased on a daily bases to gurantee fresh, appetizing meals. Some of the favorite dishes are: stewed salted pork tails, bòkel (salted mackerel), kabes ku higra (head and liver stew), kadushi (cactus soup), bonchi kòra (red kidney bean soup) and Iguana soup. Dishes are served with rice and beans, funchi (polenta), mashed potatoes or french fries. Beware: the food can be pika pika (spicy)!
During your stay visit Plasa Bieu Curacao, wonder around and ask for the specialities and smell the aromas before ordering. While looking around, you will see satisfied expressions on the customers’ faces. Dishes vary from Nalf. 10 to Nafl. 20 depending on size and type of your meal. Plasa Bieu is open from Monday till Saturday during lunchtime.
Watamula, the place where you can hear Curaçao breath
Watamula or the Hole of Curacao is located near Westpunt, past Playa Kalki on the dirt road after following the signs. It seems that the island is breathing here and it will give you a super natural experience.
Pos di Pia well
Pos di Pia was built at the time of Fort Nassau was built in 1796. The well Water was meant for the military of Fort Nassau, and the water was also sold to ships that called at Curacao the Curacao Port. The "Pos di Pia" is built with bricks and coral blocks sand and is one of best keep monuments of Curacao and one of few wells of this kind that still exist on the Island. The origin name of the "Pos di Pia": This type of well was made so that people and animals could easily get access to water, they could walk to the well and get water. art metal by GB works with a passion for converting recycled materials, using bike chain, nuts, bolts, screws, rebar, and other pieces of scrap metal to handcraft this sculpture.
